Some 100,000 people displaced by last October's devastating Pakistan earthquake have left temporary camps and returned to their towns, villages and properties over the past month as the emergency phase of the massive relief operation begins to wind down. A total of 57 camps have been closed, while another 99 remain open with about 55,000 people yet to go home. Full article

PAKISTAN: Over 90,000 quake survivors return from relief camps

Since the start of the return process on 10 March, more than 90,000 survivors of the devastating Pakistan earthquake have gone home to rebuild their lives, relief officials said on Thursday. This has resulted in the closure of 49 relief camps in North West Frontier Province (NWFP) and Pakistani-administered Kashmir to date. Full article
