VIDEO: Picking up the pieces in Ivory Coast
27 Sep 2007
Source: Reuters
Sep. 22 - After Ivory Coast's 2002 coup, the country was divided in two and rocked by sporadic violence for more than four years.

Many people lost jobs or customers as a result of the insecurity, and had to find alternative ways to feed their families. Now that the peace process is finally on stable ground, Ivorians are starting to rebuild their lives and their businesses.

Reuters correspondents Media Coulibaly and Caroline Sawyer profile a mechanic who was forced to close his workshop and move from northern to southern Ivory Coast as a result of the coup.
