LONDON (AlertNet) - AlertNet invites relief agencies to apply for money from Reuters Foundation's AIDfund for work in response to Asia's worst cyclone since 1991.

Cyclone Nargis swept across Myanmar on May 2 and 3, triggering a huge tidal wave and killing more than 20,000 people, according to the military government.

AIDfund provides rapid funding to charities and relief organisations around the world in times of disaster.
