Track and windspeed of Typhoon Damrey

Typhoon Damrey struck Vietnam as a tropical storm at about 00:00 GMT on 27 September. Data supplied by the US Navy and Air Force Joint Typhoon Warning Center suggest that the point of landfall was near 19.5 N, 106.2 E. Damrey brought 1-minute maximum sustained winds to the region of around 101 km/hr (63 mph). Wind gusts in the area may have been considerably higher.
