Track and windspeed of Intense hurricane Dean

Intense hurricane Dean struck Mexico as a tropical storm at about 21:00 GMT on 22 August. Data supplied by the US National Hurricane Center suggest that the point of landfall was near 20.5 N, 98.1 W. Dean brought 1-minute maximum sustained winds to the region of around 111 km/h (69 mph). Wind gusts in the area may have been considerably higher.
