Flood have been reported in West Africa since July this year. As of 4 October, floods have affected around 800,000, displaced over 44,000 people and killed about 210 in 13 countries (Burkina Faso, Cote d'Ivoire, Gambia, Ghana, Liberia, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Senegal, Benin and Togo.
