Ecuador floods (as of 22 Feb 2008)

Floods have affected 11 provinces, emergency declared in 9. 265,000 people affected, 14,000 in shelters, 12 dead. Losses estimated at 45 million dollars due to damage to agriculture, roads and housing. Rain and floods expected to continue until April. - Source: UN Situation Report
