At 0600 UTC on April 23, Tropical Cyclone Rosie was located near 11.5S 106.7E moving southeastward at 5 knots with maximum sustained winds of 35 knots. Another tropical cyclone, Durga, was located near 9.0S 96.3E moving eastward at 10 knots with maximum sustained winds of 40 knots and gusts to 50 knots.
