INFRASTRUCTURE STATUS as of 12th May 2008:
AIR: Yangon Int. airport operational
Pathein airfield assessment ongoing
SEA: Thilawa port operational for liner/container cargo Yangon port reported to be open, but on a limited basis Pathein port assessment ongoing
RAIL: Yangon-Pathein railway assessment ongoing
ROAD: with the monsoon season approaching the inland transport through trucks will be preferred to the boat option.
