At 0600 UTC on September 29, Tropical Storm Jangmi was located near 26.8N 121.2E moving northward at 14 mph, with maximum sustained winds of 65 mph and gusts to 81 mph. Tropical Storm Mekkhala was located near 16.6N 110.1E with maximum sustained winds of 45 mph and gusts to 58 mph. Tropical Depression 21W was moving westward at 16 mph with maximum sustained winds of 40 mph.
