West Darfur is the site of much of the ongoing Darfur Conflict. The map shows the main territorial elements in the West Darfur
area. It aims to represent the main elements of the camp (extension, mainwater point, main communication network, etc.). The map was produced with the help of a VHR satellite image. The Quickbird
image was: - geometrically and radiometrically corrected; - photo interpreted by expert on the basis of a legend produced with the user.
