This map illustrates 
satellite-detected flood waters over the affected Thonegwa Township (MMR013025), south of the capital Yangon, Myanmar on 7 May 2008. Standing flood waters were detected with DMC satellite imagery 
acquired on 7 May 2008 at a spatial resolution of 32m. Villages and built-up settlement areas within the flood zone were identified and tabulated for the township of Thonegwa. This flood detection and
