Children with disabilities are now playing together with children without disabilities, benefiting all involved in inclusive kindergartens across Georgia, thanks to a World Vision initiative to prepare children for inclusive school education. Through the Improved Social and Economic Conditions for Families with Children with Disabilities (ISEC) project, World Vision has helped the Georgian government to modify kindergartens to include space for children with special needs.

World Vision has launched a ground-breaking new book in Lebanon that sets out to change the attitudes of parents and caregivers towards their children with disabilities. “Including all Children” is the first book in Lebanon that speaks to parents and caregivers about their responsibility to include children in all aspects of community life”, said Colette Azzi, who manages a World Vision programme to include children with disabilities in education.
