ACF
Even as the Sri Lankan University Teachers for Human Rights (UTHR) organisation publishes its report on the savage assassination of 17 ACF aid workers on 4th August 2006 in Muttur, ACF is calling for an international inquiry to fully investigate these murders to reveal the whole truth and bring those responsible to justice.

ACF is shocked by the amount of detail exposed in this report: clear footprints of responsibility have been unearthed that have never before been mentioned during the official investigations that the Sri Lankan authorities have been conducting for the past year and a half.

ACF duly notes the content of UTHR's report. It is ACF's absolute priority to succeed in obtaining a criminal indictment against those responsible for this horrific murder of ACF's 17 staff members. The culprits, whoever they are, must be brought before a Court of Law and held to account for their actions so as to put an end to the impunity that reigns today in Sri Lanka.
