Fans of Sir Paul McCartney can now be in with a chance of owning a t-shirt hand designed and customized by the music legend himself.  Featuring a smiley face and the words ‘Help ActionAid, PoverTee Day’, the t-shirt has been clearly signed by Sir Paul.

The t-shirt, along with a host of others, is being auctioned on eBay until midday on Sunday 28th June. Other celebrities who have designed t-shirts for the PoverTee Day eBay auction include:

•    Graham Norton
•    Joanna Lumley
•    Tamzin Outhwaite
•    Tamara Eccleston
•    Sally Whittaker (aka Sally Webster) and other Coronation Street stars
•    Alice Dellal

This eBay auction is part of ActionAid’s first ever PoverTee Day campaign. The charity is asking everyone to wear a t-shirt for on Friday 26 June and donate £2 for the privilege.

All proceeds from the eBay auction and PoverTee Day will go towards vital ActionAid projects such as school meals for poor children in Malawi, irrigation programmes for struggling farmers in Ethiopia or emergency food aid during droughts in Kenya.
