1st December 2008 marks twenty years since the first World Aids Day.

We're now mid way towards the Millennium Development Goals and there are just two years remaining to meet global commitments for universal access to treatment. Yet 9.7 million people in developing countries are in immediate need of life-saving AIDS drugs.

In partnership with other leading agencies, Merlin will be taking part in a high level forum to discuss the future of HIV response in the current financial environment. Ivan Lewis MP, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for International Development, will be giving the keynote address. And all stakeholders will discuss how we can work together to drive forward the response to HIV and Aids.
