people.âThe Conrad N. Hilton Humanitarian Prize is the world's largest humanitarian award and was established by the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation in the US in 1996.The
annual $1.5 million award honours a charitable or non-governmental organisation that has made extraordinary contributions to alleviating human suffering anywhere in the world.Merlin has been
working in Liberia since 1997 and now helps to deliver a third of the countryâs health care."No humanitarian organisation has been more instrumental in rebuilding
Liberiaâs health care system from emergency to recovery than Merlin," the President said.The recipient of this prestigious Prize will be announced in Autumn 2009.
