SUMMARY OF THE MONTH'S ACTIVITIES AND OUTPUTS
The programme continued to reduce the threat of Remnants of Conflict to vulnerable communities in Cambodia by implementing Humanitarian Mine Action in Battambang, Banteay Meanchey, Pailin, Kampong Cham, Kampong Thom and Preah Vihear provinces.
- 21 Mine Action Teams (MATs) cleared 370,397 square metres of land and found and destroyed 460 anti personnel mines (APM), six anti tank mines (ATM) and 198 items of unexploded ordnance (UXO).
- 5 Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Teams removed and destroyed 228 APM, 30 ATM, and 1,904 items of UXO. The teams also conducted Mine Risk Education (MRE) where appropriate to 2,207 people.
