Appeal Target: US$ 379,929

Geneva, 3 October 2007

Unusually heavy rainfall since July 2007 has led to flooding and water logging across a number of districts in eastern and northern Uganda. ACT member Church of Uganda / Planning, Development and Rehabilitation Department (COU/PDR) Church of Uganda/PDR is submitting this separate appeal for the humanitarian response to the disaster, based on assisting 1,000 households, or persons affected by the rainfall and associated flooding in Katakwi, Amuria districts in Soroti Diocese.
