A powerful tropical storm named Mina (internationally named "Mitag") forces the Philippine government to call for the mandatory evacuation of more than 200,000 residents.
Mina is expected to make landfall in the Bicol region of the Philippines on Friday, November 23. Forecasters say this storm has the potential to become a "super typhoon," with wind speeds approaching 140 mph by the time it strikes land in the Philippines.
