The Irish Red Cross is urging people to Run for the Red Cross this October 27th in the Dublin Marathon.

Dr. Andrew Kelly of the Irish Red Cross has this advice for potential competitors

  1. Warm up properly before exercise
  2. Gradually increase your training schedule over a sustained and controlled period of time
  3. If you suffer sprains or strains, apply ice early and give plenty of rest to the injured area
  4. Seek appropriate medical advice if necessary.

With that advice in mind, start your training now and see how you can help our many worthwhile causes & join Team Red Cross for a day of fun, personal challenge and rewards.

Go on, Run for Red!
