Polish Humanitarian Organisation has completed the realization of a project which aimed at supplying two towns in southern Lebanon in potable water. The reconstruction of water supply piping in Rmaich and construction of water pipeline in Tiri were financed by the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The project was realised in cooperation with South Lebanon Water Establishment. PHO was responsible for the purchase of electromechanic appliances, essential in repair works. 3600 metres of pipes were also bought to build the water mane in Tiri. The installation works were conducted by South Lebanon Water Establishment. The implementation of the project took 7 weeks - from 3rd November till 22nd December.

The project enabled 3000 Rmaich inhabitants and 600 inhabitants of Tiri to obtain the access to potable water.
