They need our help! |
|
We have all seen in the media over recent times the issues of indigenous children who are at risk in remote and regional Australia. Save the Children Australia has been operating for a number of years at the community based grass roots level within indigenous communities to address the critical areas of child protection, education and health. There has never been a more important time to support these important programs. The Kimberley Corporate Challenge – May 2008Save the Children Australia has developed a unique and high profile event aiming to raise over $1 million to support important indigenous programs across Australia. The bike ride will take place from 24th May to 31st May 2008 and will see 15 corporate teams of 4 riding 500 kms over 5 days on mountain bikes across the beautiful and remote area of the Kimberley, Western Australia. The ride will provide a once in a lifetime experience for teams to challenge themselves, experience the inspiring region of the Kimberley, learn of the issues firsthand and see the important work that Save the Children is doing in the area for children at risk. The Kimberley Corporate Challenge will require
significant amounts of training, inspiration and sweat and promises to be a challenging and worthwhile experience for all involved. We invite your organisation to be involved. For further details of the Kimberley Corporate Challenge please contact Janet Cameron or Lyndell Garrard at out New South Wales office on 02 9211 8800.
