Muslim Aid representatives have been carrying outh relief work in Sri Lanka since the very day that the Tsunamis struck. Emergency provisions of blankets, food, sanitation kits and malaria tablets have been handed out daily since then. Once the immediate needs have been secured for the victims of the Tsunami Muslim Aid will be focusing its attention on more long-term initiatives such as infrastructure development, orphan and widow care and income generating programmes.
