FACTBOX-Aid pledged to Palestinians at Paris conference

Dec 17 (Reuters) - An international donors' conference in Paris on Monday pledged $7.4 billion in aid to the Palestinians over the next three years.
The Palestinian government had asked for $5.6 billion over the 2008-2010 period, including $3.9 billion for budget support.
Below are details on some of the pledges announced, by country and organisation:
FRANCE - $300 million over three years (65 million euros in budget aid, 33 million euros in humanitarian aid and 96 million euros for macro-economic reforms). Of that, 25 million euros in budget aid "as of tomorrow"
UNITED STATES - $555 million over the next year (including $150 million in budget support)
BRITAIN - 243 million pounds ($489 million) over three years
GERMANY - 200 million euros ($287 million) over three years
EUROPEAN COMMISSION - 440 million euros ($631 million) in 2008 (more than 325 million euros towards Palestinian reform and development plan, and 115 million euros for U.N. Relief and Works Agency)
WORLD BANK - Will ask its board for extra $50 million in February. "And going forward, we will be working with our Board to not only keep this level of support every 12 to 18 months, but to increase it as progress and conditions on the ground warrant."
RUSSIA - $10 million
SAUDI ARABIA - $500 million over three years, a diplomat at the meeting said
SPAIN - $360 million over three years, a diplomat at the meeting said
UNITED ARAB EMIRATES - $300 million over three years, a diplomat at the meeting said
KUWAIT - $300 million over three years, a diplomat at the meeting said
CANADA - $300 million over 5 years, a diplomat at the meeting said
SWEDEN - $300 million over three years, a diplomat at the meeting said
AUSTRALIA - $45 million in 2008, a diplomat at the meeting said
