Dec. 1 - Thailand unveils its first tsunami-detection buoy

Almost two years after the devastating Asian tsunami, Thailand has unveiled its first detection buoy.

The device will be situated a thousand miles west of Phuket as part of an Indian Ocean tsunami warning system.
