May 18 - Death and destruction in Beichuan county as hungry and tired villagers struggle for survival.

Beichuan, one of the hardest-hit areas by the earthquake in south-western China's Sichuan Province quietened down after thousands of Chinese fled to the hills on Saturday (May 18) amid fears a lake formed near the epicentre of this week's earthquake would burst its banks.
