May 23 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Iraq at 1645 GMT on Friday:

* MOSUL - U.S. forces captured six wanted men along with 15 other suspected insurgents during raids targeting al Qaeda in the city of Mosul, 390 km (240 miles) north of Baghdad, the U.S. military said.

BAGHDAD - A U.S. soldier was killed by a roadside bomb 12 miles (20 km) southwest of Baghdad on Thursday, the U.S. military said.

FALLUJA - A police officer was killed and four were wounded when a suicide car bomber drover into the compound of a police station in Falluja, police said.

FALLUJA - Six U.S. Marines were wounded and their Arabic-speaking interpreter was killed when a roadside bomb exploded near their patrol in Falluja, 50 km (32 miles) west of Baghdad, the U.S. military said.

FALLUJA - A roadside bomb exploded in Falluja when Iraqi police tried to safely dispose of it, the U.S. military said. The blast wounded two policemen.

FALLUJA - Gunmen attacked the home of Falluja's local council leader Hameed al-Hashim but were repelled by his guards returning fire. No one was hurt.

NEAR HAWIJA - A roadside bomb blast killed one of the occupants of a car and wounded four others near the town of Hawija, 210 km (130 miles) north of Baghdad, police said.

BAGHDAD - Six bodies were found in different districts of Baghdad on Thursday, police said.
