* BAGHDAD - Two parked car bombs killed 12 people and wounded 37 others, including 22 Iraqi soldiers, when they exploded in quick succession in central Baghdad's Karrada district, police said. One struck an Iraqi Army convoy.

BAGHDAD - Two bodies were found bearing gunshot wounds in Baghdad on Sunday, police said.

BAGHDAD - A roadside bomb wounded two policemen and one civilian on Sunday in Mansour district, western Baghdad, police said.

RUTBA - Two militants accidentally blew themselves up while trying to plant a roadside bomb in Rutba, 360 km (225 miles) west of Baghdad, local district chief Qassim al-Kubaisi said.
