KANDAHAR, Afghanistan, June 4 (Reuters) - A suicide car bomber rammed a car into a convoy of NATO-led forces in southern Afghanistan on Wednesday, wounding soldiers and civilians, police officers said. The attack occurred on a road in Spin Boldak's town which lies on the border with Pakistan, wounding at least three soldiers from the force and two Afghan civilians, police said. Smoke could be seen rising from the site of the incident and soldiers had cordoned off the area, they added. The attack comes amid rising violence in Afghanistan since 2006 when the ousted Taliban started to regroup.
