CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla., June 19 (Reuters) - Space shuttle Atlantis slipped out of its docking port at the International Space Station on Tuesday after a nine-day servicing call.

Atlantis parted with the space station at 10:42 a.m. EDT (1442 GMT) after a visit that saw astronauts install a new set of solar power panels and help prepare the outpost for European and Japanese laboratories to be attached in the future.

Police officers detain a protester during a demonstration by environmentalists rejecting Russia's Olympic bid in Moscow July 3, 2007. The Russian Black Sea resort of Sochi is bidding to host the 2014 Winter Olympics running against Austria's Salzburg and South Korea's Pyeongchang. The organisers of the protest said they rejected Russia's bid due to concerns the environment in the mountain range around Sochi could be damaged during the building of the Olympic park.
