Germany says MidEast quartet to meet in early Feb

BERLIN, Jan 17 (Reuters) - Germany's Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier said on Wednesday the quartet of Middle East negotiators -- the United States, the European Union, the United Nations and Russia -- aimed to meet in early February.

He was speaking after meeting U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice in Berlin.
