TEHRAN, Jan 14 (Reuters) - An earthquake measuring 5.3 shook Kerman province in southeast Iran on Wednesday morning, state radio said, adding that it had not received reports of any casualties.

Iran, the world's fourth-largest oil producer, is criss- crossed by faultlines and often experiences earthquakes.

Kerman is not near Iran's main oil and gas producing region which is mainly on the western side of Iran. (Reporting by Zahra Hosseinian, writing by Edmund Blair)
