BHUBANESHWAR, India, Nov 14 (Reuters) - At least 15 people were killed when a quarry caved in on Friday in the eastern Indian state of Orissa, police said.

Fifteen bodies have been recovered and more casualties were expected, said Dhirendra Singh Kuttey, the district superintendent of police.

The exact number of workers at the open laterite mine in Jajpur district, about 150 km from state capital Bhubaneswar, was not known, Kuttey said. (Reporting by Jatindra Dash; Editing by Valerie Lee)
