Source: Reuters
BRUSSELS, May 23 (Reuters) - The European Commission will not ban imports of sunflower oil from Ukraine and instead is considering tighter controls after a batch was recently found contaminated with mineral oil, a spokeswoman said. "It's not going to be the subject of a total ban ... We're talking about measures and conditions that will be very stringent. There will be much stricter controls on imports," the Commission spokeswoman said. (Reporting by Paul Taylor, writing by William Schomberg)
