COX'S BAZAR, Bangladesh, Aug 12 (Reuters) - Fourteen Bangladeshi fishermen were missing after their boat sank during a storm on Sunday, police said. Three fishermen were rescued but the search for the others in the Bay of Bengal was hampered because of rough conditions, a police officer in Cox's Bazar, 400 km (250 miles) southeast of the capital Dhaka, said. The storm also triggered a water surge that washed away a number of shrimp farms and inundated villages along the coast. Hundreds of Bangladeshi fishermen die and many go missing in storms in the sea every year.
