-- The government will donate $50,000 to help North Korea overcome the consequences of floods last month.

-- The economy may record a decade high growth of 8.4-8.5 percent this year, the Planning and Investment Ministry said. The 2008 GDP growth should be 9.1-9.2 percent, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung said.
