<p>(New York) Sri Lanka's separatist Tamil Tigers are subjecting ethnic Tamils in their northern stronghold, the Vanni, to forced recruitment, abusive forced labor, and restrictions on movement that place their lives at risk, Human Rights Watch said <a href="http://hrw.org/en/reports/2008/12/15/trapped-and-mistreated-0">in a report released today</a>.</p>
