Three U.S. soldiers killed near Baghdad

BAGHDAD, March 7 (Reuters) - Three U.S. soldiers were killed and another was wounded by a roadside bomb near Baghdad on Wednesday, the U.S. military said.

The soldiers were conducting a patrol to clear roadside bombs from a frequently travelled route northwest of the capital when they were hit by an explosion, the U.S. military said in a statement. It gave no further details.
