Bomb kills four in central Baghdad

BAGHDAD, Feb 19 (Reuters) - A bomb inside a minibus in central Baghdad killed four people on Monday, witnesses said. A Reuters photographer saw four charred bodies lying on the street after the explosion blew out the top of the bus in the Karrada district, a religiously mixed area. Police said the blast was caused by a bomb planted inside the bus. They said two people were killed and four wounded in the attack. On Sunday, two car bombs tore through a crowded market area of a mainly Shi'ite district in eastern Baghdad, killing 60 people in the worst attack since U.S. and Iraqi troops launched a security crackdown in the city last week. The Baghdad crackdown, dubbed Operation Imposing Law, is seen as a last-ditch attempt to avert all-out civil war between majority Shi'ites and minority Sunni Arabs.
