ICRC confirms its 4 kidnapped staff now freed

KABUL, Sept 29 (Reuters) - The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) confirmed its four staff members kidnapped by Taliban insurgents in Afghanistan were freed on Saturday, an ICRC statement said. "The unconditional release of our four colleagues is a great relief to us and their families," Franz Rauchenstein, deputy head of the ICRC delegation in Kabul, said in a statement.
