Six NATO troops, 3 Afghan soldiers killed in ambush

KABUL, Nov 10 (Reuters) - Six troops from the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) and three Afghan soldiers have been killed in an ambush by insurgents in eastern Afghanistan, ISAF said in a statement on Saturday. Eight ISAF troops and 11 Afghan soldiers were also wounded in the fighting which began when insurgents ambushed their patrol from multiple positions with rocket-propelled grenades and small arms fire, the statement said.
