ISLAMABAD, Oct 29 (Reuters) - At least 20 people, including four women and six children, were killed and 30 injured when an oil tanker and a bus collided head-on in Pakistan's eastern Punjab province on Sunday, police said. The accident took place near the town of Muzaffargarh in the southern part of the province, Rafiqullah Khan Niazi, a senior police officer, told Reuters from the scene. "It was so severe a collision that 20 people died on the spot," Niazi said, adding that the death toll could rise as many injured people were in critical condition. Road accidents are common in Pakistan where drivers, especially those of public buses, often fail to obey traffic rules.
