ISTANBUL, July 24 (Reuters) - Turkey's military said on Thursday its fighter jets hit 13 Kurdish separatist targets in northern Iraq on the previous day, but said it was still trying to confirm losses suffered by the rebels.

Operations will continue against the separatist Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK), the military said in a statement on its website. The PKK uses northern Iraq as a base from which to launch attacks on the Turkish military. (Reporting by Thomas Grove)
