Sept 21 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Iraq at 1130 GMT on Friday.

* denotes new or updated items.

* TALLIL - A Romanian soldier was killed and five others were severely wounded in an explosion while they patrolled next to their base in Tallil, near the southern town of Nassiriya, the Romanian Ministry of Defence said.

* KIRKUK - A roadside bomb killed a soldier and a policeman and wounded a civilian in central Kirkuk, 250 km (155 miles) north of Baghdad, police said.

DIYALA PROVINCE - One U.S. soldier was killed in Diyala Province on Thursday by an explosion near his vehicle. Another soldier was wounded, U.S. military said.

BAGHDAD - U.S. forces killed one gunman and detained eight others during several operations on Friday targeting al Qaeda leaders in central Iraq, the U.S. military said.

ISKANDARIYA - Several mortar bombs killed one person and wounded three others in Iskandariya, 40 km (25 miles) south of Baghdad, police said.

YUSUFIYA - Three bodies were found with gunshot wounds and torture signs in Yusufiya, 25 km (15 miles) south of Baghdad, police said.

HAWIJA - Three people were wounded by several rodaside bombs placed by insurgents targeting a deserted house belonging to the previous police cheif in Hawija, 70 km (40 miles) southwest of Kirkuk, police said.

BASRA - Gunmen shot dead Sheikh Amjad al-Jinabi, a religious aide to Iraq's top Shi'ite cleric Grand Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani in the southern Iraqi city of Basra on Thursday evening after he had attended a funeral in the Shi'ite city, Sistani's office in Najaf said in a statement.

DIWANIYA - Sheikh Ahmed Abdul-Kareem al-Barqaawi, a Sistani aide in the southern city of Diwaniya, was killed in a drive-by shooting in Diwaniya on Thursday evening, police said.

KIRKUK - A roadside bomb wounded four civilians in the northern Iraqi city of Kirkuk when it exploded near their vehicle, police sources said.

BAJWAN - Police said they found a body in the town of Bajwan, 20 km (15 miles) northwest of Kirkuk, bearing signs of torture.
