July 1 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Iraq at 1550 GMT on Tuesday:

* MOSUL - A truck bomb killed one person and wounded 25 others in a small town near the city of Mosul, 390 km (240 miles) north of Baghdad, police said.

* MOSUL - A roadside bomb killed one policeman in Mosul, police said.

BAGHDAD - The U.S. military has begun withdrawing from Iraq the last of the five additional combat brigades that were deployed to the country in 2007, a U.S. military spokesman said.

NEAR BAQUBA - A roadside bomb wounded five people south of Baquba, 65 km (40 miles) northeast of Baghdad, police said.

SULAIMAN PEK - A bodyguard of the mayor of the town of Sulaiman Pek was killed by a bomb attached to his car, police said. The town lies 160 km (100 miles) north of Baghdad.

NEAR BAQUBA - A roadside bomb killed three brothers and wounded their father south of Baquba, police said.

BAGHDAD - The Iraqi army killed two militants and arrested 30 others in operations during the last 24 hours in different areas in Iraq, the Defence Ministry said.

MOSUL - A parked car bomb killed one person and wounded 13 others on Monday in Mosul, police said.

MANDILI - A suicide bomber killed four people, including two policemen, on Monday in the town of Mandili, 100 km (60 miles) northeast of Baghdad, police said. Eighteen others were wounded, eight of them policemen,

BAGHDAD - Five bodies were found in different districts of Baghdad on Monday, police said.
