June 1 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Iraq at 1130 GMT on Friday:

FALLUJA - Six suspected insurgents were killed during raids targeting al Qaeda by U.S. and Iraqi soldiers in Falluja, 50 km (30 miles) west of Baghdad, on Thursday, the U.S. military said. Another suspected insurgent linked to al Qaeda was detained during a follow-up raid on Friday.

BAGHDAD - Ten suspected insurgents were detained during raids targeting a local al Qaeda commander in southwestern Baghdad on Friday, the U.S. military said.

TAJI - Seven suspected insurgents were detained during raids against al Qaeda in Taji, 20 km north of Baghdad, the U.S. military said.
