HURRIYET - Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan will be accompanied on his trip to Washington by three or four leading military officials who will take part in his talks with President George W. Bush. VATAN - U.S. U-2 spy planes are monitoring the activities of the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) guerrillas along the Iraqi border, supplying the coordinates of PKK camps to the Turkish military. SABAH - "Economic embargo". In its bid to target those who aid the PKK, Turkey may limit exports to northern Iraq, limit border trade generally, limit flights into the region and withdraw Turkish companies from the region. MILLIYET - In the critical days ahead of the meeting between Erdogan and Bush, Iraqi Kurdish leaders Masoud Barzani and Hosyar Zebari announce that effective measures have been taken against the PKK rebels. DUNYA - The Turkish film council and tax council prepare a report for the finance and culture ministries aimed at boosting the country's cinema sector with the aim of attracting some $250 million to $300 million annually in foreign films to Turkey. BUGUN - Since Turk Telekom employees began a strike there have been some 400 incidents of cables being cut, resulting in costs to the company of some $185 million and causing serious damage to communications in some parts of the country.
