American wounded in attack on US embassy car in Sudan

DUBAI, Jan 1 (Reuters) - An American was wounded in the chest in a shooting at a vehicle that belongs to the U.S. embassy in Sudan, Al Arabiya television reported on Tuesday.

The driver, probably a Sudanese, was killed in the shooting at the sports utility vehicle in a main street in the capital Khartoum in the early hours of the morning, it said. (Reporting by Inal Ersan; Editing by Charles Dick)
