Aug 2 (Reuters) - A roadside bomb killed a U.S. soldier and wounded two others when it targeted their patrol in the vicinity of Basra, southern Iraq on Wednesday, U.S. military said on Thursday.

Earlier the U.S. military reported that two U.S. soldiers operating south of Baghdad were killed and 10 wounded in an attack on Tuesday.

Following are the latest figures for military deaths in Iraq and Iraqi civilians killed in attacks since the U.S.-led invasion in March 2003:

The U.S-led military coalition toll includes casualties from Iraq and the surrounding area where troops are stationed.
